Liz Acevedo -- Technician Supervisor     Hired: 5/23/2001
     Certified Technician: Liz is celebrating her 1 year anniversary to Miguel on 10/10/09. She is the proud mom of son Ethan, 6 yrs old, 2 year old dog Tank, cat Jupiter, toad Chili, and gecko Twister. She enjoys every aspect of her job, but she especially loves taking care of all of her chemo patients.
Leslie Arrington -- Receptionist     Hired: 7/22/2009
     Phone Support: Leslie is a mother of two. She has been a client of CCVS for over 8 years. She has many pets at home: 5 dogs, 1 cat, 4 bunnies, 11 chinchillas, 1 ball python snake, several hamsters and gerbils, and also fish. She has always loved animals and has never known a time without pets. Originally from New York, she has been in PA since 2000. Starting as a receptionist, she hopes to accomplish all the knowledge she can absorb. On a personal note, she is a proud Puerto Rican who loves to read and spend time with good friends.
Brandy Baker -- Receptionist     Hired: 7/13/2007
     Brandy can be found answering our busy phone lines and adopting out pets. She is the proud mother of Emily age 6, Adrienne age 3, and a free range rat named Baby.
Yancy Bixler -- Certified Technician     Hired: 6/21/2002
     Yancy puts a great deal of empathy into her work. She loves when patients go home to happy owners. She also loves her many cats at home and does a lot of kitten rescue during the summer. Yancy teaches and tutors for the veterinary technician program at Northampton Community College as well as enjoys various outdoor activities.

     Katelyn is 19 years old and works at CCVS cleaning instruments and as a technician. She has finished one semester at NCC and is planning on moving to Tennessee to start college at Roane State. In her spare time she house sits and plays with her pets. She has three cats and one dog, all rescues, most adopted from CCVS.
Melissa Brower -- Office Manager     Hired: 7/29/2004
     Melissa is always willing to lend a helping hand or a chiro arm. She is the proud mom of daughter Hannah Lynn, dogs Mya and Chance, and kitten Bam Bam. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her fiancée Drew and their daughter Hannah, cooking, and figure skating.
Elizabeth Caesar -- Technician     Hired: 5/2/2005
     Elizabeth has been with CCVS for 4 1/2 years. She enjoys doing physical rehabilitation. She has been married for 8 1/2 years to husband, Chris and has two sons, Chase and Mason. Her pets consist of a 9 yr old pit-bull, "Bucca", and "Bull", a veiled chameleon.
Tabitha Clewell -- Night Technician     Hired: 10/3/2005
     Tabby is always willing to learn new things and take on the many challenges of working in an emergency practice. She can be found most often in ICU with the critically ill patients. Tabby enjoys spending time with her family, karaoke, and caring for her pit bull, boxer, and 4 cats.

     Meribeth is a certified technician from N.C.C. She has two dogs, a cat, and a mouse. She enjoys the fast-paced emergency environment, educating clients, and learning new things every day. Some of her interests include music, reading, writing, and exotic pets.

     Nikki graduated with a degree in Medical Assisting and enjoys using that knowledge to care for our many patients. She is currently working overnight in our ICU. In her spare time she can be found at her son’s football and baseball games and when she is not there she is a host on a page in a canasta, a pinochle league.

     Carrie is wife to Clint of 15 years and mother to Chase, 12 years, Austin, 11 years, and Anya, 3 years. She thoroughly enjoys chronic wound care, bandage changes, and laser therapy. Being involved in any area of the hospital, from office visits to surgery to ICU is very fulfilling, challenging, and exciting!
Stacy Keeney -- Technician     Hired: 5/7/1998
     Stacy enjoys her three beautiful children Shannon, Taylor, and Ben most of all, but she still has a passion for polydactyl cats and large dogs. At work she enjoys caring for hospital patients on the weekends, and she still continues debugging lab equipment during the week. Thirteen years and going, she still loves her CCVS family and can't imagine life without the animals.

     Dental Department Supervisor: Kareen finds dentistry to be the most compelling part of her job. She enjoys lab work, interacting with clients, and assisting in surgery. She is a member of our Blood Bank Committee and was on the Relay for Life team. She enjoys home life with Shaun, their three year old daughter Victoria Layne, their fish, and their two hamsters "Kasey" and "Kane". The family enjoys spending weekends at the races. Kareen also enjoys outside activities with her daughter like swimming, fishing, boating, baking, and flying kites at the park.

     Natalie is 21 years old and takes care of all the animals in the kennel. She has attended college at NCC and is planning on moving to Tennessee to attend Roane State. She is a godmother to her nephew Jacob, and has four cats and one dog.
Debra LaBarre -- Certified Technician     Hired: 7/13/2007
     Debbie has been a certified tech for 5 years. She recently got married. She has two pugs: Lucy who is 3 years old and Ethel who is 1 year old. She also has a cat named Kitty who is 1 year old. Debbie is currently going back to school to be an LPN. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, yard work, and most of all playing with her animals. Traveling is also a very big passion of hers.

     Administrative Assistant: Eileen likes learning new things and the everyday challenges of patient billing and inventory control. She enjoys gardening and sewing, and is a collector of Maltese puppies. Eileen has three children and four grandchildren.

     Surgical Department Supervisor: Lorraine has a strong interest in surgery and anesthesia. She very actively seeks continuing education, and is the drive behind our blood donor program. In her spare time she can be found showing and breeding her Westies and Goldens. She is now, in her spare time, the 4-H leader for the Dog Club called "Top Dog". Lorraine spends most of her spare time fixing up her home for herself, her Westies, and her Goldens.

     Spas came to us from Bulgaria, where he was a large animal veterinarian. He has been with us for 7 years as a night technician. Spas is married to Zoia, who is a teacher in this country for children with disabilities. He also has two daughters. Krastina, 30 years old, is an officer in the US Air Force and also attends the University of L.A. School of Medicine. Also, Krastina is getting married December 29th 2009 to Thomas Whittman. Nina, 26 years old, is finishing her bachelor degree in Criminal Justice at Stroudsburg University.

     Kristy is a technician with a heavy concentration in surgery. She can be found assisting the doctor in many of their surgical procedures. She is now also assisting in dentistry and has a special interest in that area. Kristy also assists with the Canine and Feline Blood Donor Program with Lorraine and Kareen. She is a mother to two beautiful girls, Briana and Mikayla. When not at work she enjoys spending time camping with her boyfriend Kenny, their girls, and family.

     Dave has worked here for 9 years in February. He moved to Tannersville from Mt. Pocono a year ago. Dave lives with a cat he adopted from here nine years ago and the cat still doesn't like him!

     Cindy is the proud mother of Anthony, 13 and Brianna, 12. She has three four-legged companions, “Allie”, a rescued pit mix, “Gennesee”, a tuxedo cat, and “Josie”, a calico with an attitude. Cindy also has one three-legged companion, “Caleb”, a rotti who was bottle raised and one limb less. She loves to watch her son play football and her daughter do gymnastics and cheerlead. Cindy recently got engaged to her boyfriend Jeff. She loves to care for the critical and not so critical patients in the ICU. It’s so rewarding to see such ill patients going home after caring for them for so long.

     Angela lives with her fiancee, Chris, their twin cats, "Stink" and "Dink", and their ball python, "Ralphie". Their beta fish "Frankie" recently died of natural causes and their persian mix, "Chyna", passed away 4/1/08 due to polycystic kidney disease and is very much missed.

A lover of rottis and animals who have special needs, she is always good for a laugh, and famous for saying, "Every little ting is gonna be alright!" when the day gets rough.

     Michelle still loves her job, even with all the craziness. She and her husband are happily married for almost 13 years. They are the proud parents of three mini Schnauzers, four chinchillas, and nine ferrets. Her horse recently went to Montana with a former employee. You can find Michelle fishing with Herb or working around her home in her spare time.

     Ron is the man that keeps a roof over our heads, the equipment working, and the light bulbs in the sockets. He is a 1983 MCTVS graduate with a degree in carpentry. He has a daughter Rebekah and a son Jacob. He enjoys archery, fishing, camping, and coaching West End Little League baseball.
